A planning commissioner for a Washington city retained Kenyon Disend to represent her when a group of citizens filed an ethics complaint with the City’s hearing examiner alleging a conflict of interest and violations of the City’s municipal code.  Following a contested hearing conducted using remote technology, the hearing examiner recommended to the city council dismissal of the complaint.  The city council subsequently adopted the examiner’s recommendation.
