In a unanimous decision in favor of the City of Kirkland, the Court of Appeals affirmed the trial court’s adjudication of public use and necessity related to property acquired through eminent domain for use as a new fire station and fire training facility.  We were privileged to represent Kirkland against the vigorous opposition of a national chain drug store, and proud to have helped the City proceed with its plans to provide more effective fire protection and life safety services to residents.
