On September 18, 2024, Kendra Rosenberg and Joanna Eide attended a meeting of the King County Municipal Clerk’s Association to present on the topic of policy writing for municipalities. Some of the topics covered were: the differences between policies and procedures; methods of policy adoption; goals and contents of policies; effective policy drafting; application of and types of polices; and numerous other related issues.
